So I enjoy Super Meat Boy and I enjoy the soundtrack. And then I want to get the soundtrack.
And then I find a
34-track digital-only editionCool! I want it! But wait! There is a
special 73-track edition!
I want this 73-track edition! But I want only the digital version of it, I don't want the CDs.
I don't care about the physical CDs because:
1) I don't have CD-players anymore;
2) The CD/DVD drive of my computer is somewhat malfunctioning, and I don't know if my future computers will have an optical drive;
3) Why would I put the CDs on my computer if I get the digital edition?
4) I don't want to spend 7 dollars on shipping costs, specially not on something that I won't use.
So, I would love if
dB soundworks allowed us to have a 73-track digital-only edition. It would have been an instant-buy for me.
Meanwhile, I was thinking... If I find someone else that wants the CDs, we can buy the 73-track edition together, the CDs get sent to that person, and the digital download could be shared among us two. And the price we would pay would be the double (but with single shipping costs). Would this be okay? Would this be legal? Or would this be frowned upon?
What do you guys think? And if people agree, does anyone else wanna join me?
