I found out how to make multiple save files for Super meat boy, but even when I make a new file all of the achievements are already done and my leader board times are already filled out. This is making it quite impossible for me to have a save file for individual characters, because it will not save my times on the leader board unless they beat my previous all character best time. Please help me.

If you want to remove achievements, there's a program for that.

If you want to start over on the leaderboards, you'll have to use a separate Steam account. This will also mean you get to unlock achievements again, but while also still having them on your main account.

I thought about the possibility of making different steam accounts, and I have a hard copy of super meat boy, but wouldn't I have to buy separate copies of super meat boy for each steam file?

Yep, you'd have to purchase it again on the separate account. There's really no other way to achieve what you're looking for.

Yeah well that is highly unfortunate, but I suppose I could use the Xbox version of the game, and create multiple xbox accounts for no extra charge. That would allow me to have seperate accounts for all my characters, all of which have different leader boards.
