Yeah, Cotton Alley and Rapture are really hard. When I bought the game, I thought "eh, I'll probably get to cotton alley and get at least 60 bandages", but look at me now, I got golden god.  |

The Cotton Alley light world was way too easy. I finished most of the levels in one sitting.

The Cotton Alley feels more like a world of concepts that never made it into the first six chapters. To me, it was the most fun chapter, but far from the hardest.

I disagree, I think the Cotton Alley Dark World is the hardest world in SMB.
At least there is no dark world in my opinion that's harder.
When I bought the game I didn't think that I would ever become that good and I'm still very bad in comparison to others...
I think I should really do Zombie or Impossible Boy in some time =/

Yup, Just got back from pumping my SMB muscles.
Finally sorta back to my old skills, Gotta get back to the past like Samurai Jack.
And i'm not liking my 8xx on the leader boards, I wanna be in the top 250 again..
And by the way, Everything is overrated after you beat it at least once..

Top 250 is definitely not possible =/
73L for example should be something like 43x.
And I don't know anyone who got a better ranking than him and didn't glitch many levels.
I'm 473, but I got a few glitched times.

^Same here! The bandage girl save icon is and always will be the sweetest reward in this game. Anybody ever get the icon and only shave off a ~.001 so it's essentially the same time, talk about a letdown.  Or maybe we're just niche speedrun freaks... |

well, hence the question...
no i stopped playing on the 17th jan 2012
and it was the end for me at SMB, sorry to leave this behind
SMB was a great game, in the end i was disappointed from the lack of future updates and I've made my mind, uninstalling the game...
