I'm way ahead of Kaede @ ragingfranz, he never really completely speed ran the game, THE LEVELS HE DID DO are really good, but it really amounts to nothing if you don't follow through.

Who the heck is Exo? I would be mad suspicious especially if I never heard of him. You also completely forgot ASG.

@Ragingfranz:  You are correct about 73L, he's the current beast of the Steam leaderboards.  Kaede is very good as well, like TE said he hasn't completly speedran the whole game.  Breakdown and Exo are Meat Boy runners mainly, pretty much the two best Meat Boy players on Steam.  If it's just down to "Meat Boy scores" than it's between me, Exo, Breakdown, and Kaede generally speaking over the most levels.

Hey Franz don't forget Thunder crab, He's definately very legit and he hasn't finished speed running the whole game yet. He's ahead of me by about 50 seconds and has another 100 to go probably. He's only used the pink knight glitch as far as I can tell. Everybody else ahead of us managed to speed run early in the game when Hominid glitch was available.

I can confirm what has been said, there are a lot of levels I find simply too boring to spend time speedrunning them. All in all I haven't speedrun that many levels, although what I have speedrun I tried to optimize to my best.
I also have speedrun levels mostly with Meat Boy and rarely using the fastest character.
I nearly don't play the game at all anymore anyway, although I might get back to it from time to time. Besides, 73L and Takuji and even Raginzfranz are too active for me to have much chance of beating their new times (at least, not without much effort, which I'm lazy to provide . Too many games to play, too little time, etc.).

My Bad. I shouldn't have been so compelling. My opinion isn't the truth.
I just mean that i wouldn't consider the list of 10 Xbox players on a general time basis as the 10 best players, Choffidge. For the reason you mentioned : glitches we can't use anymore since they've been fixed. (Who are SHYSTIE  and TAGADA KIRA ? I don't seem them having impressive chronos but they're still on the general top : that's what I mean.)
Yes, i'll use the giltches i can use with the pink knight when i'll find the time but won't catch with the top.

On my personal observation, the best players are consistently on the top of major levels. I still need to do justice for other Xbox meaters who could be considered amongst the best as well; citing only 3 is too restrictive i admit :

Thunder crab / is doing very well on certain technical levels. He actually owns Schism (6-2) world record : 20,99.
Telesniper / whith whom i exchange information and am competing with.

It's interesting to see the xbox player list, I actually knew of a few of them from Splosion man, the speed run scene was not nearly as competitive but bruiscypher was #1 on there too. (I used to be #11 or something)

If I ever get another xbox I will definitely be re buying meat boy and jumping in myself.

I downloaded the demo for Marcury HD and noticed Briuscypher and Kyoshi are on top of that one too! they're insane.

A few i listed in xbox top ten aren't showing in their rightful positions because of a glitch in the leaderboards that show them having only completed 309 or 307 levels - Emmawatsonsbf, dew010 and shystie.

@franz, for sure with the pink knight you can take another 60 or 70 seconds easily taking you past another couple of positions. p.s. well done on teh internetz

I like meat boy the most. I like The Kid also. I don't know if i'll have the patience to use the pink knight (and learn how to use his super jump) just to say so. I focus on levels that take at least 10 or 20 seconds, that where i aim the best players, in which you belong.
