I hadn't played SMB since I bought the game on steam a week after release. Everything worked fine the, well controller support was limited but there was a work around at the time.

So I reinstalled today, loaded it up, and I have no sound! Not even at start up screen as others with no sound are reporting...

Reinstalling didn't work and I'm out of ideas... any help would be appreciated!
