Why hello there!

You've browsed around the forums everywhere, in hope to find a solution to your problem...

Well, fear not fellow player!
There's something wrong with the steam_api.dll file provided with the SMB installation. It has 117kb, while every other games have 122kb.

If you don't happen to have any other Steam games which has the dreaded file, you can download this version instead:

You need to copy and replace the file over in Super Meat Boy's Steam installation path.
This is located, on Windows 7, in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\super meat boy. This file path may vary on your computer, but if it does AND you can't figure out what to do, just ask.

I got super meat boy through the indie bundle. When I got it on steam, it downloaded but it has never opened. When I downloaded it through the direct link it didn't download a certain file and wouldn't work. I tried the fix that you suggested and it wouldn't work either. What should I do? Help!!!!
