Just been trying to play this game again and noticed that on the About page (http://supermeatboy.com/about/) there's a contact for. Maybe if we all post all our crash logs in there something'll happen...

The game always crashes for me right when beginning the first level :(  I would be more upset if I hadn't bought this game as part of a bundle (hint: all the other games work, even though practically all of them are ports).  I have to say, this Mac port is really skeezy.  Pleeeease fix it, guys.  10.8 came out in July of last year.  I bought this game in June and didn't try to play it until after I'd gotten a new Mac with 10.8, so I've never even seen the game run.

Hi there, so this is on a mac osx 10.8

nothing else running, just steam then start meat boy.

i get all the intro screens and then when I click on the forest world, I see the artwork/movie clip and then --crash-- with a kernel exception.

every time I start the game now, I get this crash.

before it would crash randomly and sporadically, now it crashes immediately at the start of the game.

how can I fix this issue? I'd like to play the game, I paid money for it, but I can't even run it at all! So sad.

Please let me know if there are any start -parameters I could set, or a patch I need to install.

Thanks.

EXACT same thing on my end. Brand new MacBook Pro and SMB just keeps shutting down once I get pass the Street Fighter animation. Poopy.

Same here.... I really wish I could play even ONE level to justify this purchase.... Starting to think I should ask for a refund.

Exactly the same here. And a lot of people on the STEAM Forums have the same crashes since Mac OS X 10.8.

I'm having the same problem! I wish I could just play a little... just a little... please fix it soon?

Same thing with me. I can't play any of the game and I paid for it so I hope it can be resolved soon because I've heard it's absolutely awesome.
Glad to see it's not just me. Although, for the first time I played, I made it to the fifth level, but after that, it would crash every time I get to the World Opening.

Just tried to play again and, in addition to the menu crash, I'm now getting a permanent weird graphical corruption across the top of the screen that I don't remember noticing before. Anyone else seen this?

When I open super meat boy, I can go to the main menu but then crashes when I try to start the first level.

I am curious if anybody has the same problem as me.

I enjoy the game and I hope this can be fixed

Hello,
I've been playing Super Meat Boy on Steam successfully on my iMac for a week, now.  OSx 10.6.8.  I installed it at home on my PC as well, but this is related to the iMac.  I've had no issues until today, suddenly, whenever I try to launch the game, my laptop slows down, a blank white window appears, the cursor turns into the whirling rainbow circle, and after a few minutes, I get a message saying the game shut down unexpectedly.

I've tried verifying the game's cache, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling.  I've tried using the launch options to force the game to open in fullscreen, as it was windowed before.  No dice.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
