So I recently got the urge to just get up and play Super Meat Boy. (Long time no see, forums!) I tried to launch it and it got stuck at the little Steam window that says "Preparing to launch Super Meat Boy..." I can use the editor, and I just made three levels with "musical" names. But I still can't get SMB to open. An hour or two ago I tried launching it then had to go to the bathroom, forgot about it, and a while later I came back to the computer and it was still at the "Preparing to launch" window. So I made those levels and... Yeah. Is there any fix for this? Does it have to do with the Steam database being hacked? Etc?

Don't know much about problem fixing but maybe try to just start it from the original folder? Start it as administrator?

Or maybe you're just missing a file.

Could try to start it from another service pack also.
