It won't be a plateformer. Of that we are sure. I hope they continue in the Super Hard kind of Retro game! I would be very curious to see what they could do in the Shoot them up field for exemple

That's fine. More room on the indie scene for my platformer project once it's finished

Yea I cant wait for their next project. No clue what it may be. Think I prefer it that way. Super Time Fcuk is a great idea. One of my favorite flash games ever.
In all honesty, however, Edmund and Tommy could just mail me a box full of broken glass and title it "Super Broken Glass in a Box Ultra Edition" and I would try to stuff it into my pc to see if it worked. If it didnt work, I would blame microsoft for not supporting the new broken glass media format.
I am a total Team Meat fanboy now. I have accepted this fact and have no shame whatsoever. If they ever need a kidney...
I will kill a small child and take his kidney and give it to them.

Everybody says SUPER TIME FCUK OR TIME FCUK 2 OR TIME FCUK MEGA DELUXE XXL EPIC GOLD RUSSIAN VERSION.
But really, do you think Time Fcuk needs a sequel ? That'll just make the original game worse.

You know... You have a point there. You may be correct. However, if they did choose to do something Time Fcuk related, I would prefer a remake as opposed to a sequel. No drastic changes. Maybe just high res graphics (To an extent. Gotta keep the retro feel.) and the dark twisted feel of the story would just appeal to alot of people. I honestly just want more people to experience the game. Putting it in a more "PC game" or console type format would be a way of accomplishing this. Not everyone can appreciate the greatness of something when it must be played on keyboard in flash format.(I realize Xpadder = win, before someone says it )

I watched an old podcast off of Alec Holowka's (Aquaria) website where he talked with Edmund, and he is 100%, completely and totally against sequels. He feels like sequels kill great games (he says that the first Tomb Raider and the first 2 Tony Hawk games were good but the rest are shit) and that he refuses to let that happen to his games (I guess he saw Gish and Meat Boy more as tech demos in a way?).

I hope they make another game like SMB. But with WAY more indie / custom characters.
Personally, I would just like another SMB like game with more unlockable characters. And more levels, of course.

I hope they do something totally different, and here's why. Lets say the game is very similar to Super Meat Boy; They would essentially be competing with each other. That brings us to two possibilities. Either: A) Super Meat Boy > Game 2: Fans are disappoint. Team Meat is sad. B Game 2 > Super Meat Boy: Fans are rejoice. Super Meat Boy is never played again since Game 2 is the spiritual successor and does everything better. If they're totally different they can be awesome separately

Well, since they will be working on a 3DS game, possibly a game using the concept of Super Meat Boy, but in a 3-dimensional way? Not a 2D platformer, IDK. A lot could be done with the Meat Boy Franchise.

Who says the 3ds is purely 3d? Last I checked, programming languages aren't limited that way since 3d is just an extension of existing 2d architecture.
