Hello.
When i launch SMB it throws error "An error has occured and mini-dump (hehe) was sent to Meat Team...". I think it happens because i use integrated videocard (Intel GMA HD). If you need more information - ask me.
One of my minidumps
P.S.: Sorry for my english, i hope you understood me :)

The mini-dumps are not only automatically sent to Team Meat, but they're useless to anyone but Tommy.

Post your specs and we'll figure things out from there. It also wouldn't hurt to Verify the Integrity of the Game Cache.

Definitely take Zarkith's advice and verify your game files (in Steam, right-click a game, click properties, go to the "Local Content" tab and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".

I've found that fixes a lot of problems with my Steam games. I have no idea why the files get stuffed up in the first place though...

I too get this error on startup. ("An error has occured and mini-dump (hehe) was sent...")

And I too think this happens because of the intel graphics chip. If got a Lenovo Z370 Notebook with WinXP SP3, 2GB RAM and an Intel HD 3000 chip.

SMB runs on my desktop-pc (Win7, 8GB RAM, Geforce 460) and worked fine on my old laptop (WinXP, 512 MB RAM, Mobility Radeon X700 with custom ASUS driver from 2006)

Things I tried unsuccessfully:
- Verifying Cache Integrity
- Reinstalling SMB (multiple times)
- Reinstalling newest directX drivers
- installing Visual C++ stuff
- installing dx and vc++ from prerequisites folder
- launching in 640x480 window mode with -ultralowdetail
- launching without steam
