The new Teh Internets levels are up! They added Starlight, Paradise Lost, and Minneapolis, along with two "coming soon" slots (hopefully for Jumper Returns and The Passenger).

And I was about to rent Arkham City...

Wat... those are the only new ones going up...? I thought they were already on...(not to mention if they werent, they're incredibly old and should've been up there a while ago) Theres still tons of chapters that could be added. (Not that it matters to me, I have the pc version. I was just... just... nevermind.  )

The aforementioned chapters were added today. I don't have the pc version, so these levels were a pleasant surprise. A few of the levels lag, though.

Probably levels from starlight , some of them are bit detail crazy.

It seems like you guys are getting the best of super meat world (funny, because all of these chapters were created before the official level editor was released, including cramps and remnants)

It almost makes the steam version obsolete, best of the best and leaderboards = win?

Exactly my thoughts.

I'm actually considering moving to my 360 version just because of Teh Internets and less hacked times.  73L and yourself being ranking in the 400's is a sacrilege.

Unfortunately, the hacked times are hardly better on the 360. I was in the top 300 back in July when my xbox broke. Now I am at 538. Damn those guys with 313 levels beaten!

Yeah, their definitely not perfect but I was around 390 with mainly Meat Boy times when I logged onto XBL a few months ago.  And my 360 times at that point where nowhere close to my times on Steam, and on Steam I was low 500's.

Thing that sort of sucks is every time I log onto XBL on that box I have to play through every single level again to get my scores updated on the LB.  I really need to invest into a 2nd wireless adapter or recover my account on my online 360 and move my save over.

Thanks for the info. I just saw they're up ! Thanks Team Meat !
I won't play before a certain time though. Want to get my time under 925 at least for the 100 first levels first. (Will be hard to catch number 1, Telesniper, as he manages to use Pink's special jump, whereas i can't skyrocket twice in a row, and i never used him on the main game either. For that, i have at least 7 seconds i couldn't catch on Remnant, impossible chronos to equal with any other char than Pink Knight.)

I'm surprised that team meat didn't make an official announcement. Hell, they didn't even leave us a tweet. I might not have ever found the new levels had I not had the urge to play some Remnants. My warmest regards to Tom and Ed, though.

yeah, especially since the uploading feature is disabled on SMW. the pc version is basically the shit version now.

This is what really makes me wish I was around before the level editor was out. Seems like devmode levels are the only ones that get any attention on xbox.

I was kinda hoping that one of my chapters would go up. But, knowing Team Meat, that'll either never happen, or take 6 more months. I was thinking that my many hours in the level editor would pay off. It didn't.

To me, all of the best level editing did take place back in the devmode days. There was this really long and awkward pause when the "official" level editor came out, which turned off devmode in the process. In its first release, the editor was unusable as it was plagued with a lot of glitches, many of these locked up the editor and left you unable to save or do anything. It took a long while for the editor to be usable again and this drove a lot of people away from level editing, which was a pity because there was a lot of talented people involved there.

Not that I say anything against what people are making nowadays, of course. There's still some good stuff made but a lot of really terrible levels as well (which I ironically spent more time showcasing in my Super Meat World videos). Back then, the signal to noise ratio wasn't as bad because learning the editor took a lot of time and effort, so most of the people who came to terms with it eventually managed to make great stuff. By making the editor accessible to all, not as much effort is being made and you end up mainly with disposable junk made by people who didn't bother putting any ounce of effort.

The aforementioned chapters were added today. I don't have the pc version, so these levels were a pleasant surprise. A few of the levels lag, though.
The guy that made Starlight and Minneapolis, RyokoTK, didn't mess around with decoration and some of these levels use a lot of objects, which require more resources to run correctly. Even on my PC, I sometimes had slowdown while playing Minneapolis, which was the main reason I didn't like it.

Starlight probably wouldn't be as bad in that aspect, though.

As some one who does not own the xbox version of the game, I was wondering if any one could check if they ever filled in the two coming soon slots in Teh Internets?

Hey, I just checked... nothing new. I'm a bit sad too because I was told to expect my chapter The Passenger to be up there eventually. Now, I'm assuming it's never going to happen. Oh well...

Unfortunately, I highly doubt anything is going up there now. But I'm really disappointed that they never put up your chapter because they were supposed to do that a little more than a year ago... so they decide to update it, but they only add more of RyokoTK's dump of good, but extremely hard and repetitve chapters. Are there even chapters up there that AREN'T made by Nova or Rokyo? (excluding the Team Meat chapters.) My disappointment is pretty extreme because there is absolutely no WAY that any more are being uploaded. It's a hassle to do anything with Microsoft but Team Meat still could've made better choices. If it was because they were limited as to what they could upload, they could've at least excluded Max Jumper, which is mediocre at best, in comparision.

EDIT: Whoops, misread OP. They could've excluded Starlight. While still a great chapter, it's pretty similar in difficulty to Minneapolis and doesn't really add anything new to the table. I just feel like theres an unnecessary flow of chapters from one person and it sort of takes away of what I feel is the point of Teh Internets (And SMW.) I'm not saying they shouldn't spotlight good chapters because they are all coming from one person, I'm just saying they could exclude what isn't really new or different, in exchange for putting something there that will give an experience that differs from all the other chapters currently there. Most of Teh Internets is Rokyo's stuff anyway, I don't know how you could complain from that side.
