I've received word that the 3ds version of Super Meat Boy got cancelled. The hell is going on in this universe these days. I can't believe my ears. Super Meat Boy on the 3ds would rape team meat with money, so why not do it to make up for cancelling out on the Wii Version, shooting me in the gut with Fetus's rocket launcher by making me buy it on steam so I can play it on my computer that has the highest graphics card of DirectX 9. My game lagged in 4-bit warp zones. Who else wants it to come to the 3ds. Team Meat's genius would be able to whip up a port for the 3ds in the time it took me to beat rapture dark world.

And why the hell isn't there a Little Horn smiley. Make that.

Where was it ever confirmed?

And nah, I don't think it would be that great playing it on 3DS.  I'd rather a Wii U version if anything.

I think the DS port was cancelled a LONG time ago just like PS3 and Wii.

It wasn't ever confirmed, but it was being thought about, and it's entirely possible. I guess I shouldn't have said 'cancelled' if it was never confirmed, but why ditch that great opportunity. And a Wii U release would be cool, but that wouldn't make it portable. Bottom line. they shouldn't be so quick to say no.

And why don't I see a little horn smiley yet.

Finalflash50 is demanding a smiley? Well shit guys, we better drop what we're doing and get on that A.S.A.P.!

Super Meat Boy is already incredibly unstable, so I wouldn't count on there being any more ports, especially to the 3DS. Just because Team Meat has a 3DS Dev Kit doesn't mean they were thinking of porting SMB to the 3DS.

I should get a 3DS dev kit too then, seeing how I'm not planning to develop anything for it.

They had said the Wii port was impossible due to the games size, so how would that make the 3ds any different?

The eshop is a bit different than before, so it might be possible.
But I thought Team Meat will only port TBOI to 3DS?

Honestly, I prefer the binding of isaac to be on the 3ds than super meat boy.

Team Meat didn't make TBOI. Edmund drew the art, but Florian Himsl did most of the programming.

Both of them have submitted a 3DS port to Nintendo, but Edmund hasn't recieved word yet if it's going to be published.

SMB isn't going anywhere anytime soon. However, I did hear of a remake of SMB for Apple Devices. You could ask Edmund on that. Who knows? Maybe it will even have a level portal that actually saves progress?

Are you sure the the file size is what stopped the Wii release? There could be compatibility errors. Like the dev said, it's a really unstable game so it could be hard to work with. I don't care about it being 3d, just a handheld version of the game really. It's such a good game, but I can only play it with lag on my shitty PC.

And anyone who thought I was serious about the little horn smiley, I was just messing around, although it would be cool to have that.
