Another question, is there any significant difference between Ogmo and The Kid besides the fact that Ogmo is much easier to unlock IMO?

The kid makes ogmo completely obsolete when you unlock him.

Ogmo is much, MUCH less versatile--when it comes to jumping, and double jumping.

They both do the same thing, but ogmo does it poorly. There is virtually no significant difference though, just jumping length / height / fluidity. Major uses include easier A+ completion , incredible usefulness in no-death run achievements, basic speed running.

Ogmo has got a different double jump and is slower, he can be used for speedrunning a few levels (3-5 and 3-13 for example) and might sometimes be easier to control than the kid (example->3-3x)
And Ogmo can wallslide and I don't mean by double jumping towards a wall, more like meat boy (I'm not sure if the kid can).
But all in all TunnelingEffect already said it ^^

3-5 is by no means a good level for Ogmo to speedrun... why you might think that, is because the actual champ of that level, Alien Hominid, will always show up as Ogmo on the leaderboards for whatever reason.

Well, I got a good time with Ogmo on this level (3.8x)...
I can't do it faster with Alien Hominid for some reason, but I know how it works =/

Just hug the conveyor belt in front of you, hold jump and tap action-button as fast as you can :)

I always need a second jump.

He makes my favourite character useless. That's not fair!

Well, at least Matt got two of his characters in the game...
