The procedure entry point_except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll

...huh?

After a Windows XP SP2 reinstall, Super Meat Boy gives out this error whenever I try to launch it.

Ideas?

Someone else said they were getting this error when they tried to launch SMB without Steam. You aren't trying to do that as well, are you?

I've tried running SMB both with Steam and without it. Nothing really changed.

Well then the obvious solution is to re-install that .dll.

But where to find one?
I am running Windows XP SP2. On my installation disk the .dll is the exact same as the one that is currently in my system32 folder. Downloading random ones from the Internet resulted in windows refusing to load at all.
