My avatar totally doesn't give away who I voted for. Totally.
As to "why", I like the fact that he doesn't have any overly game-breaking abilities like Meat Ninja, Naija, Capt V, or Mr. Minecraft, and he leaves a trail of colours.

Commander Video. His floating ability is quite useful to pass some hard jumps and get ceratin bandages.
Also Double Rainbow all the way.

Definitly Flywrench. He's just to sticky to not love! (and by sticky I mean it's shaped like a stick) Also I love his triple jumpiness, and I think his slowness just makes him extra fun!  |

I'm divided between Spelunky and Captain Viridian. They're both so odd, yet they're both so incredibly awesome at the same time. I guess I have to vote for Spelunky, though, as his explosive flight can be extremely handy at times. I haven't found much use for Captain Viridian outside of beating some vertical levels easily and doing some tricky stuff while upside down.  <- Poor captain is upset that he wasn't chosen |

Yeah Spelunky is great in Super Meat Boy and spelunker and spelunky are great games as well. |
