Hey guys. I'm just doing some promoting for my indie game here. I hope that's not a bad thing! I'm a one man team and have been working on this for three years. Here's Patch!

Here's a quick write up about it:
Patch is a game that takes the term “platform game” to its earlier roots, using one-stage mechanics. Adopting the traditional platform features as jumping, problem solving, obstacles, and specialized gimmicks for each unique level, Patch takes the genre back to what it was in its glory days. Taking a break from the overly glitzy and super glossy graphics so prevalent in today's mass produced video
games, “Patch” successfully illustrates a video game that rests simply on its laurels. It's a whimsical piece that gives the gamer a chance to conjure up all those retro feelings forgotten in the corners of high-def platforms, plus the added bonus of something most games haven't put forth in a while—a challenge. This is a game with heart; a simple concept but not simply made.

There's also a little promo commercial on the facebook. Hope you ladies and gents give me and Patch a chance. A demo of the game will be up soon. So if you are interested please please please like it up on facebook!

Hi! I've just played through the demo with a gamepad and like it ^^

If you read this, I just wanted to complain that the wall-jumps are hard to do with the D-PAD, as the jump button doesn't take the character too far from the wall, so it's a lot of moving the finger and falling. I solved it with the analog stick, but then sometimes I would do the special jump due to pressing it a bit down...
