Hello,

Well, I can't stand using the shift button and I'd like to change it. I've googled about this and read that you can change keys using buttonmap.cfg. Well, it won't let me change them. It says access is denied. My account is admin.

What's wrong?

Right click the file and select properties. Make sure it isn't set to read only.

I'm not sure why it would be in the first place, but if you would rather keep it read only if that's the case (or if that doesn't fix it) you can try running notepad in administrator mode.
