I just got the UK Ultra Rare Edition brand new. Opening up the package, there is no Steam activation code anywhere. There is a 15 character code printed on the CD itself but Steam will not accept.

Please help!

Very frustrated as I do not have a lot of free time to play games and I've spent the last 2 hours searching the internet to no avail. There goes my gaming time...

Steam says the code should be 25 characters long, the one on the CD is 15 which is why it doesn't work....

perhaps the 15 lettters key code fits UK customers

I activated my (UK) copy today successfully from Australia. The code was on the CD and was only 15 characters in length, and while there was space on Steam to enter more it worked straight away.

I did have problems activating my Orange Box a while back, and exiting Steam and entering the code through the 'Activate a Product on Steam' option (rather than the menu that popped up during install) worked in the end.

umm weird..tried it before and it didnt work..but now it worked!!!(guess its because I left steam open for  a couple of days.. )thank you so much! forums>tech support. never played it before hopes it turns out great.

Hey Meat community,
I have a wierd problem. I don't have a cd key.

Yesterday I bought the Ultra Edition at our local "Saturn" (Brunswick, Germany).
I looked through the whole stuff which came with the box but no cd key
not on the cd/inside the cd, in the manual, on the poster, neither on the postcards or on/in the box itself.

Does someone know where the cd key is on the german version?
Help would be really nice :)
