Editor is for 2 weeks*. I don't think it's that. Maybe a release date for Wii, the release of the retail for comp and SteamCloud compatibility?

"2 weeks" was one and a half weeks ago, though, so really only 4 days left until supposed update.

I have that tweet from the 20th of januar :

"Attention internets: the Editor and Portal should be out in the next 2 weeks. tommy got the server setup, backend is almost done.. soonish"

Either way, it's within the next 7 days, and that's all I care about. If I had to wait any longer I might lose it.

I hope it's a level editor update.  :D

Also, if the Wii version just has the Xbox characters, I'll pass on it.  I hope they come up with new characters for it really bad, just because it'd be so worth it to play through it again for new people.  :DD

I've never hated Valve time. As long as they use the time to make it perfect, I could stand a delay.

Yeah, but it's pretty annoying when some big-name games are delayed for several years, like Team Fortress 2 (expected "way before" 2005, came out towards the end of 2007) and Half Life: Episode 3 ("that’s hopefully coming in 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012").

Announced in 2007.  No announcement for 2011.

Fuck Valve.

Oh ya, the original version of TF2 was supposed to be released in like 2000. It was a piece of junk that looked like this:

http://www.tomshardware.com/picturestory/222-image-preview-team-fortress-2.html

And the HL2 episodes were supposed to be released 6 months apart, which would have put episode 3 some time in 2006.

HOWEVER, if plans hadn't changed, we'd be stuck with Team Fortress Classic 1.5 and we wouldn't have Portal, Left 4 Dead, or all the free updates we've gotten for Valve games over the years.

I forgive them.

I don't.  TF2 is still a pile of garbage, even with the rehaul.

So I heard that we were talking about the mysterious "Big news soon" announcement on the SuperMeatBoy Twitter

I'm really hoping that they're going to tell us that the Wii version is happening. That, and maybe tell us that character creation/customization is a possibility

Well, given that everything we know about the "big news" is purely speculation until a subsequent announcement, the conversation was bound to veer into bad territory.

They didn't exactly make a big deal about the announcement, so I'm still convinced that it's either a release date or the release itself, rather than new news.
