Have there been any sales figures released about Super Meat Boy? Such as how many units sold or how much money this game has made? I'm very interested in knowing the Edmund and Tommy are getting some payment they deserve for their hard work and hopefully can use that money to make more great games. Meat Boy

There hasn't been any official information from what I know, but judging by the fact that it's been on sale on Steam around Christmas as well as XBLA I think that they're doing at least OK (as in, covering production costs).

Between splitting funds on Microsoft and any other company they are probably doing alright.

I'm guessing sales figures in the 450,000 mark, it seems it sold more on PC.

I'm sure they're not Blizzard rich, but based on reviews alone, they must have sold more copies then they were expecting. They're only two guys, so the overhead couldn't have been that great.

There are almost 200,000 users on the Steam leaderboards and that doesn't even include the people who bought the game when it was super cheap and haven't even played it yet. I suspect there are just as many, if not more players on the Xbox leaderboards.

For an indie title that didn't have a huge budget to begin with, I'm sure they're more well off than they though they would be. They deserve every penny.

Yea I agree with everyone when they say "they deserve it" . They mos def deserve it. I myself bought it for xbox live and PC (prefer pc obviously) and i gifted it to 10 or 15 folks as well. Also bought the soundtrack

After reading what I typed there it sounded boastful to me and I don't mean it that way at all. Just addin to the convo to give an idea about how much some of us support  Team Meat Meat Boy . My assumption is there are plenty of folks like me out there (fanboys.. no shame) who might have did the same.

In the end, gaming needs people like Team Meat. Those who aren't afraid to offend. Those who say whats on their mind regardless of what backlash they may receive. Those that get kicks out of helping an ordinary Mo with some game problem on their twitter. It reeks of character. I hope they made serious bank and will release another deviously awesome game.

Meh thats my 2 cents.

Buy the soundtrack. The digital copy is only 4 bucks, but you can pay as much as you want.

I think the soundtrack only goes to the musician. But they have plenty of merch (comics, plushes, shirts... etc). It's almost like donate.

Ya, I'm dumb. Forget I said anything.

Ok then, create another Steam or XBLA account and buy another copy of the game.
