The FPS counter in Fraps(Recording program) does not show up in super meat boy, and I am also unable to take screenshots or videos with the program.

I am using an outdated full version, and no i do not know the exact number.

If there is no fix could you possibly give me a subsitute program to FRAPS(Preferably not Playclaw please)

Thanks in Advance.

Works fine here in 3.2.7; I suggest upgrading, there's no reason to have an old version of FRAPS.

I'm using 3.0.1 version. If I launch FRAPS a few minutes before I even think about touching that Meat Boy shortcut, I'm usually fine.

Try running Game Booster.  Put it into gaming mode before recording.  This usually keeps my computer from having random lag attacks.
Defragging your computer will also help if you haven't done that in some time.

There are certainly ways you can improve your frame rate, but the game is recording things as you go and that alone is an impressive feat. For me a frame rate is usually cut in half, so if im playing at 80 fps then FRAPS will record at 30-40.

But yes try running gamebooster, close everything else in the background, and once in a while run SystemSuite or Spybot Search and Destroy to clean any crap you might ahve acquired on your computer.

I should note that if you have any version of systemsuite you can clean up registry errors and such, and thats something that will really help keep it up.
