My avatar is one I found that I felt best represented me. I'm a graphic designer (who wants to be a level designer), and in my work I have a thing about eyes (and obviously doing design is about being visual). I don't know why I didn't just make my own avatar... but anyway...
It's also a great representation of the internet.
The internet represents a virtual all seeing eye for the meta consciousness that is shared between all of us, big and small, from all walks of life, moving constantly in every direction.

The internet is basically 2 huge water tanks, separated by a wall with a small gap in it. 1 tank contains trolls and the other contains those being trolled. The two tanks exchange many things through the small gap, among people and information but there is always an equilibrium.
Anyway, my avatar is a Cleffa who likes tea and looks extraordinarily British. I like tea as well, and I like looking British. I'm not usually into Pokemon, but I think Cleffa is pretty cute in this picture.
