While I don't feel this is too much of a big deal (I have midterms this week, so the level editor would have been a Very Bad Thing), it does behoove the developers to post a notification on the official blog that they won't be meeting their stated time-frame. Not everyone meticulously sifts through their Twitter feed.

I understand it's all in the name of quality control and releasing a stable product, but you'd think these guys would be able to meat their own set deadlines *BA DUM TSS* Nah, but yeah, it's a bummer having to spend a couple weeks with the clock sluggishly ticking by thanks to the anticipation only to find out that the release date's been pushed back.
