Playing with a keyboard really isn't all that bad if you use a comfortable config.

That and I don't have an XBox and I'm not paying 12$ for a gamepad to play one game slightly more comfortably.

Keyboard (with re-configured controls). I have a controller, but I'm not as good with it and it hurts my fingers.

The charger cable doesn't actually send any controller data through it, it just charges the battery.

Anyway, I believe that you would need to buy a Wireless Gaming Receiver. It basically plugs into any USB port on your computer and acts as a receiver for your wireless controller. I'd personally recommend just getting a wired controller, but that's your call.

Both kb and controller suck.  Man up and use a wheel with pedals or a power glove.

As long as you remap your keys, a keyboard doesn't destroy your hands.

I started out using the default keys and it was absolutely destroying my wrist. Spacebar is a stupid key to use to jump and holding shift with your two weakest fingers is the worst.

After to switching to WASD (well... A and D), I've actually had more luck than with the gamepad. It probably also helps that I have a gaming laptop with really sensitive and easy to press keys. A standard desktop keyboard is probably worse.

Did I play Super Mario Bros, Mega Man, and Zelda as a child with a keyboard!? Did I slave over the Sega Genesis with a keyboard!? Did I spend a good year or seven playing the Super Nes with a keyboard!? NO ! I did NOT use a keyboard, I used a controller like a REAL American should! We were gave thumbs for a reason people. You may say chimps have thumbs too but recent studies have shown that chimps try to avoid using there thumbs! So let me ask you this are you Chimp,or are you a MAN!

Btw I use a gamepad.

I've used game pads loads before, most of my childhood was with them, but lately I've been using keyboards mostly because tf2 etc. I use the keyboard for super meat boy like I do for tf2 but with my left hand on the arrow keys instead of the mouse. (and yes, my right hand is actually on the wasd keys)
