I've beaten light mode & am halfway through dark mode with the keyboard.
I really don't get why people have a problem using the keyboard, it plays great for me!!!
I actually have a controller but I prefer the keyboard, being a pc gamer & all...

I don't like playing on the keyboard, because my space key is very loud when pressing it and I already had a controller so...

I don't actually have a gamepad. Keyboard for me. I've gotten Golden God in both SMB and TBOI using one. In fact, I prefer keyboard for almost all PC games I play.  |

I always used a keyboard, but got a controller recently. Honestly, I don't think it's that much better, defintly a bit, but I don't think it's a big difference |

I have a question about using a controller!
I just bought a NES USB controller and I was wondering if I would be able to use it with Super Meat Boy? I really want to buy the game regardless even if I can't hook the controller up with it. I've seen a lot of people having trouble running it on mac though so that's kind of keeping me from getting it (I only have a macbook).

I bought the game and it works on my mac. I can't get my NES controller to work though. Jump works when I press A but the d-pd doesn't move. I know how to access the button map but don't know how to map it out? Anyone know how?

I guess it's because I grew up used to those Flash platformers on Newgrounds and the like, but SMB with a keyboard just feels natural to me. I may try a 360 pad soon, though, if I can find a cord for my 360 controller.
