tested it and all I can say is : this is some other type of HARD.There are 2 types of HARD : COTTON ALLEY HARD and THIS-KIND-OF-PUZZLE-HARD..didn't saw this level coming.Very innovative and impressive as always cousineor.Let's just hope you won't put a Kaizo Trap :))

Thanks for the feedback!  Meat Boy

Maybe I just got it easy when I did because I tested it quite a bit beforehand and had a good route going, and I kind of deleted blocks to flow with my route lol. I think 7-1 will be its permanent place, it'll be like a warm up level.

Sorta felt...lonely... with no saws or any real obstacles except the missile. And personally, I can't get past the first platform - probably because I havent experimented with those blocks yet.

I was afraid to put in traps because they might take the focus away from the puzzle at hand, but I added a few in key spots, and it makes it tougher, but it also complements the puzzle in a way too.

Here's the update: http://www.mediafire.com/?6xv636m75h9pqq4

Gah, finished my newest Terrace level. I might need someone to polish it off though, haven't got time to put background design in the levels.

Has anyone else started?

I can do the fleet if you want. Since there's only 5 levels I can spend time getting them to perfection.
Anything I should know?

1. End tileset.
2. They need to be considerably hard (see the difficulty sheet on page 2)
3. Need to be about as long as End levels. Over-longevity is really really bad.

Well, this is the Cotton Alley of this project, I can't let them win too easily.

The thing about the level is, it's really hard until you're able to find a comfortable route to guide the missile along, then you can do it kind of consistently. It's also really short, you don't lose much ground when you lose the missile, or get killed yourself (in my mind, this level was longer, but then I looked at it and just chopped off a portion of the level.)

Luckily, when I make the dark world levels, I'll be using the cotton alley philosophy of "Vaguely related to the light world version". It'll involve missiles and blocks that need to be hit with the missiles, but it'll be more of a dig downwards while not getting hit (and maybe upwards) type of level. It may end up easier than this and be demoted to light world.

As for now, I'm at school.
I've started on The Castle, though.

It looks bad since I had to run the game on low detail since I guess anything that's not the retro tileset makes Fraps kick my computer in the face with lag.
