I used to have 2065 seconds (1st) for the overall on the XBLA SMB. After the patch which fixed the 307 lvl glitch I got to 310 levels completed and my time shot up around 300 fucking seconds. I re-played every level! What the fuck happened? Instead of being at 2065 i'm at 2336 seconds. All of that hardwork is down the drain. Thanks

It seems the 00 timers stick until you do them again, then it adds that time or something, I've added time to mine but at the same time levels, and some are reset so now they count and all that, just replay them all and it should be good, thats what I'm gonna do

Did a bunch of your times get reset to 60 seconds? I know a couple of mine did with the update.

I stopped messing with the warp zones altogether when I discovered that they were screwing up my completion. Wouldn't be surprised if the best times were resetting too.

Same here, I had 2279 seconds with just 3 0.00 times and now that I did those 3 levels I have 2540 seconds.
I don't know what happened, Team Meat should explain this thing.

I figured it out! I just replayed every single warp zone with 0 deaths. Then I went and improved my time on a random level. I lost about 150 of the 260 or so seconds.

I'm guessing this is PC related aswell, I'n uncertain of it but I feel like I have had my global time go up when re-completing warps.
Sadly such bugs or broken mechanics only make leaderboards feel artificial and not worth competing in. It's often the player who has to figure out the cause for these occurrences and the fix for them aswell, not fun.

Holy crap. I just decided to do no death runs of the warp zones of the first 2 worlds, and I went from #143 to #134 in rank, cutting about 80 seconds from my time!

I have 250 seconds of unwanted time on my overall that I know is directly tied to warp zones, I can get to low 2400 from high 2600 but whenever I re-load the game or replay even one warp zone for fun it resets, roboticaust has explained the warp zone shit in a few of his posts I think.
I can't be bothered until its officially fixed, watch your time Drandor - it ( most likely ) will revert to what it was.

I beat all of the warp zones with 0 deaths (except The Guy--I skipped that one), and when I improved a time, I lost 230 seconds. I'm at least back to where I was before the update, and maybe even a little lower (it's hard to tell how many times I improved since then).
I just hope that this isn't like the PC version--resetting to the previous total after a few hours.
My time is back up again. Quitting and restarting didn't seem to affect it, but when I improved another level, my time jumped right back up. This is absolutely ridiculous.

You're right, it did return to what it was before; but only after completing a level in-game. I checked the leaderboards as soon as I got back on SMB and I was still #134.
