It's weird, my game counter is around 50 hours of play and I never seen that screen.

I saw it when I was at 106% already and had him, it just said "In the year 20XX" and then went away, I was like "lol what?  I have you already?"

This is a random implementation into the game.  Just more nerdy jokes for those of us who get em.  Even after completing everything in the game, you still will run into this.  It's super rare and has a few variants.  It's nothing to worry about or over contemplate.  It's just Tommy being a funny guy.

I just had this as well, freaked me out so much I had to register here

Got it on 3:11 just after getting the bandage and after pressing Y during the replay; unfortunately I was just tapping Y repeatedly and it went away.   Looked like a pirate and the music changed as well; sounded like piratey music.

The bandage gave me 90% complete, maybe it was that?

Weird!

I had it happen to me way after I got Meat Ninja. In my case the screen said: "I smell wet fur"
