From what I understand, The Kid is Ogmo with higher jumps, faster running, and overall better control. Basically, a far better version of Ogmo, except for the fun bleeps and bloops.  |

Ogmo has his place though. His jumps are much lower, so he's better at making horizontal jumps with low ceiling clearance (i.e. between two saws, or under a spiked ceiling). The Kid definitely works better in more situations, but Ogmo is far from obsolete.

I've never used Ogmo, when you unlock Kid he becomes obsolete. Ogmo is there if you can't unlock Kid, otherwise he is useless.

I agree. Regarding speedruns, I think it's kinda sad that characters like Ogmo and Headcrab are not balanced enough to overcome Meat Boy / the Kid / Runman / Viridian / Naija in any single level in the main game. At least I haven't found that possible yet. Still, that doesn't remove the fact that I sometimes play with Ogmo just for fun. If only Ogmo had the turning high jump from the Jumper series... I hope to see some cool Ogmo only levels after we get to enter the Super Meat World. |

I know Ogmo, I know his ability but he becomes obsolete when you unlock Kid, on Xbox Live nobody among the top speedrunners used him, he is the best character for 0 levels. |
