So how does this work? The game tells me I got 100% (thanks to some glitch worlds) and yet it doesn't give me the achievement or meat ninja. While the achievement clearly states you need 100% and the game clearly shows me I'm at 100%.

On the PC version, it's 106%. And there's no extra bandage in Cotton Alley.
Go through each world individually and look at each completion percentage. Then look at the leaderboards and make sure you've beaten all 310 levels.
I had to go back through a couple of the warp zones and beat them again before if gave me the achievement.

You havn't got the other 2% because you forgot to type 'extra' before you completed the first level. You must restart your game and type it.

no way i gonna get 106%... I already wanted to quit at 98%, but because the achievement looked like it was only 2% away I thought I would do those couple of levels more

In order to get the achievement, you have to beat every single level (including the warp zones and dark worlds) and get every bandage. Sometimes you can glitch the completion percentage and get the achievement, but it doesn't work consistently.

If you've done all the glitch levels it will unlock the second you get 105.5% since the game rounds up. I don't know how it works if you skip the glitch levels, but I was under the impression that they are optional anyways.

So why does it state 100% in the game and achievement and are they both talking about something else. Would be better if the achievement clearly stated you had to complete everything.

That's what 100% means - everything. The completion counter on the stats page is just a little weird, though. I actually got the achievement with 5 dark world levels left to beat, so don't get the idea that you need to completely suffer in order to get it :)

This. You can't really go by that completion counter because it's often just plain wrong.

Then why does the game state otherwise ingame. If it were just for the achievement I would have thought I had to get everything. But if the game itself gives statistics and decides to count glitched levels as an extra %. It makes sense to think 100% ingame equals 100% achievement.

And it also seems to count the glitched levels correctly. I don't see how it's plain wrong. Also nobody I talked with had any problem with the statistics counter, beside the achievement probably uses the same value's.

Yeah I just received my "I'm a Golden God" acheivement yesterday (what else are you supposed to do when there's a blizzard outside?), and I still had four Cotton Alley dark world levels left to finish (BTW, I still have two more left: 20-20 and XOXO, and they're gonna be hard).

This is exactly what happened to me yesterday (or the day b4 yesterday): got the Golden God achiev (and Meat Ninja) when I still had 4 or 5 more levels in (dark) Cotton Alley (and the third glitch lvl) to complete. I was really surprised since I tought I would need every lvl.
