This is a university setting just so you guys know.


After debating about whether Final Fantasy VII was a good game or not with a classmate of mine in my literary tradition tutorial (SPOILER: It was an atrocity), we got talking about other games.  I mentioned this one.  I showed her the preview for the game by IGN on Youtube.

Her reactions:


Regarding Meat Boy:

"That doesn't look like a skinless boy to me"


Regarding the replays:

"Did he just have babies or something?!?"


Regarding Commander Video:

"Why is he farting rainbows?"



Among other things.

People who don't play meat boy don't understand meat boy.
Also FF7 is a good game, unlike FF8. And FF9 is the best. ;)

Yeah, it's a shame that SMB isn't a JRPG with easy drama and emo characters.

FF7 good, but overrated because it was many people's cherry-breaking FF game. 8 was good in it's own right, and 9 was by far the best PSX iteration IMO.

Back to the main topic though... I never thought of Commander Video farting rainbows, but that's all I will be able to picture from now on. Thanks a lot!.

(FF9 is definitely my favorite one on the PS1.)

How can people not understand the simplicity of the tragic tale of Meat and Bandage?
