I dunno I always thought maybe we could have like a clan or group or something for people who are particularly good with new levels. Obviously we would mostly have to wait until the editor is released cause not everybody likes how devmode works, but i think it'd be cool. Members of the team could even work together on a big 5-chapter project or whatnot.
Yes? No? Suggestions?
On another forum I was on we had an animation team for people who could animate well with NES sprites, and it was really cool to see collabs and all that people work on.

Sounds like an awesome idea, really It reminds me of a similar project with the Jumper Editor (Jumper=Ogmo's game), where we were like 10 users, and we each made one level

Sounds cool. Not sure how good I am at level designing yet, but I would certainly be interested once the editor hits and I've gotten a bit of practice

It's cool. Oh word, in that case count me in no questions asked! I would be happy to work on some large scale projects. Assuming my course load doesn't build up like crazy in the upcoming months I'm totally game for devoting large chunks of free time to level creation (if it gets too unbearable there's always summer )

Specially if your taking AP classes or whatnot.

More like college courses. 7 Credit hours, 30 hour work weeks, at least 42 hours of sleep a week, around 7+ hours used for meals, etc. That brings me down to 82 hours free per week, and that's before course work and assuming I only sleep 6 hours a night. In other words my freedom will probably vary on a week to week basis. Now next semester when I'm talking a full 15+ credit week on the other hand...

Count me in. I've created only one level by now, but once the editor is out and I've tested it properly it would be great to take part in some kind of collaborative projects.

I'm doing 12-15 credit hours every semester, a full time job and a part time job Also started programming my own game while still finding time for friends and gaming. You aren't over-extending yourself nearly enough

You aren't over-extending yourself nearly enough Yeah, I know its not a lot right now but whatever. The trouble is how everything is spaced. I only get a few small pockets of free time each week. Its a pretty shitty schedule.

I'm interested in this idea. I have some experience in level design (did a complete level overhaul on Super Mario Bros. a couple of years ago) and could offer some concepts to the idea pool.

This idea looks like a go Yes. That will happen. When you make the group, you should probably post the name of the group here so everyone can join it.
