Hell I'd spend $50 on the full package with level editor/portal.  Its one of the best games I've played in years.

Agreed.  It's a shame the steam forums were full of trolls crying each and every single time the price changed; usually demanding their money back in the process.  This game is well over its price tag since most 10 dollar indie games take a few hours tops to beat.  Hell, even WoG didn't take long to beat and it was meant to be semi-sandboxish.  Not to mention, it was highly less enjoyable overall.

I pre-ordered the steam version, so I only paid 10 bucks for the title.  But I've gotten quite a few of my friends and online buddies to buy the game and play it, so I'd like to believe this somehow evens things out karma-wise.

If it had another 300 levels, the music, the level editor and everything else - I'd pay full retail.

It's a short game in reality - just an amazing amount of fun / replay value.

Only if it was a retail copy, but then that's only because I doubt I'd spend 30 bucks to download anything.

I bought VVVVVV for $5 and I beat it in less than 2 hours. I still felt like I got my money's worth.

I spent $3.75 on SMB and I've played it more than 70 hours, and that's only before the level editor update.

I would buy it again for 10 times the price if I had to.

To answer the OP's question: Most likely not. I haven't payed over 20$ for a PC game for years. I only wait for Steam sales. The only full priced game I bought recently was Golden Sun DS.

This.

But in a way the price is another appeal of the game. A lot of times I convince people to buy games(Like say, Magicka) because they're cheap and provide great lasting appeal.

I can assure I'll be playing meat boy for years to come.

And the best part is there will be nothing but new content and dlc.

I <3 Meat Team.

I would definitely pay $30 bucks for this. If you played the original flash version of this then u know how the User Generated levels pack version of Meat Boy was epic. There is going to be so much content people are gunna lose their jobs and or lovers because of playing so much. I know I probably will. The question is will folks that aren't die hard gamers and Meat Boy fanatics see this game at the store for $30 bucks and pick it up. I sure hope so but I dunno.

I would probably pay 35$ max for Super Meat Boy. It's so addicting, I just can't stop playing it until I get everything I can. You know what? I change my mind. I would pay 60$ if I had to. Meat Boy
