Naija is not game-breaking.
Steve is game-breaking.
Steve can't really speed-run though right? I men Naija is game-breaking for speed runners, as in, you have you use her for most stages instead of Meat Boy to stand a chance at a good time

For me it's Steam all the way! 1080p/Saturn USB controller (2004 model)/better achievements/level editor/etc.

I have both, but I've been focusing on the PC version for speedrunning and stuff right now. People always mention Naija and Runman as gamebreaking, but my best times are on the vertical levels that Captain Viridian simply destroys. He's gotta be my favorite character at this moment in time. But yes, the leaderboards are more consistent on the XBLA version, and Spelunky is really fun, but I'm still working on my Golden God over there, so it'll be a bit before I can speedrun on my live account.

Her dash is pretty crazy powerful in that you can cut corners and ignore obstacles in certain levels, but when she's not in her floating superdash she's very hard to handle. She's basically the typical high skill/high reward character, like Spelunky on Xbox, which is why speedrunners love her so much.

Hold down shift to fall slowly and to not jump. Just hit shift to have great speed and high boost in the direction you're facing. So basically the Naija strategy is : 1. Create lag. 2. Speed boost through walls. 3. ??? 4. PROFIT

She's also really good when you aren't cheating by forcing lag on the game

Both games are 99.9% the same. It really comes down to what platform you prefer to game on.

Totally not true, the level editor and the unlockable chararcters make the two versions so much different.

Yeah, I wouldn't have bought the PC version if it weren't for the level editor (until I found out that Naija was a playable character anyways, but even then I would have waited for really good sale)
