At least their totalitarian government allowed them internet in the first place.  Most countries suffering some form of fake democracy will typically have super censored internet or no internet access whatsoever.  At any rate, high fives all around for their people finally standing up and giving the middle finger to their shit government.

My history teacher talked about this for the whole class but all i remember was that a bunch of revolutions in africa are breaking out cause of the internet.

My history teacher talked about this for the whole class but all i remember was that a bunch of revolutions in africa are breaking out cause of the internet.

It's not really BECAUSE of the internet per se, but let's just say that their government was treating them like garbage and they were uprising on the internet.

So they shut the internet down, and they all took to the streets. It's kinda like a flame war, except there's no internet anymore, so they're pwning each other IRL.
