In the Heterosexuality thread, mass quoting quotes of "wat" are legitimate posts, but my favorite thread of "Guess what game the screen shot is from" got shoved into the "Child Boards" section as being a post count whore only mechanism.

I really don't care about my post count and like the stated ideas of removing it. I don't like the fact that some of what I feel are legit threads got brushed off into the "Child Boards"

I only bring up the specific thread of "Heterosexuality", but so much in any thread likens itself to the "+1", "This", etc posts that add nothing but a count that are accepted as acceptable. 

My beef is specifically on the flipside. Saying a forum game makes it a post count whore only mechanism is incorrect.  I feel the "guess the screen shot game" and "guess the movie games" are in the appropriate section as "off topic" and do not lead themselves to "+1'ing". They actually require more than say the "acronym game", "answer the question" and some others game threads, plus they generally require way more input than all of the "I agree to that response" in any thread.

You raise a very good point, and although a lot of the game threads do just tend to be spam-fests, there are a couple that I'd almost forgotten about because they've been hidden away on that child board.

Hopefully this whole thing is irrelevant, as it seems there's a consensus to remove or at least hide post counts, so forum games can come out of hiding then I hope.
