On the contrary sir, I never use Runman... So the irony is sort of lost on me, my aim is to do my best w/ Meat Boy. And it was just a friendly competition, I try not have a big swinging dick of a leaderboard ego... That said, I kind of regret ruining my chances w/ Meat Boy on some levels when I went crazy using the Kid one day.
...But I do appreciate the pickup on "robot" and your username. And I still really wish their was a char categorization for the leaderboards.
I hate to burst your bubble, but allow me to show you the first page of my friends list for that level. It's cool that you're speed running, but you have work to do on this one!
Indeed, I haven't really devoted myself to Meat Boy speedrunning so far, I've just been crazy busy w/ the fiance and college. You know how it is...
But yeah, the last game I really pulled out all the stops was DKCR's Shiny Gold Time Attacks...which is insane on some levels. And to be honest my main focus atm is finishing Vanquish on God Hard. Once that's done, it's all SMB!
But I'll never use Runman/Naija, I just think their lame characters and I have no fun using them. As for comparing Meat Boy to Runman, it's like putting a Middleweight in boxing match w/ a Heavyweight...it's just not a fair comparison of technical skill. This game
needs a char-based leaderboard.
