It would be awesome if there's a "next level" button on the pause menu. I enjoy replaying some fun levels, but there's always a couple in between I enjoy less. It would be nice if there would be a button to skip to the next level without having to exit to the world menu and pick the next one there. Also would be easier to search for a level where you don't know the exact number or name.

Seconded. It would also be awesome if the leaderboards in the pause menu showed the boards for that level so I don't have to keep going to the map to check them.

A next level, previous level and restart button (this one should remove all previous attempts.) for those who want to make a replay without all those nasty deaths.

Would help with Iron Man runs. That way you can make a good sequence in less time :D

I like this idea, and it doesn't seem like it would be difficult to implement. One other thing I would like to see added is the ability to input character codes from the "switch characters" menu. I don't like having to exit to the map every time I want to play as Goo ball/Tofu/Brownie.

+1 to this. Also, I'd like to be able to choose a bit version of Meat Boy from the character select screen instead of having to exit to the map and choose one. I know that sounds a bit unnecessary but I just like the bit versions a little more :P

goo ball should just be putt at the character selection screen and the ingame character switch menu or just replace headcrab

Although this suggestion is not related to the pause menu, it doesn't deserve its own topic.
One nice thing for replays would be if there was an option to only show the successful attempt and have the obstacles act as they normally would (specifically crumbling/disappearing blocks and keys).
Also, the replays menu badly needs a redesign. More than three replays onscreen, scroll up/down a page, exiting a replay would take you back to that replay's spot in the menu, etc.

Actually, I think that would be better in a different topic. It makes no sense in this one.

It doesn't deserve its own thread because said thread already exists.
