After some exhausting reseach over the internet, my studies tell me that the above 9 levels seem to be the ones giving people the most difficulty. My question is, which one do you think is the hardest?  

My personal vote goes to The Kid 2. The hit detection is so unforgiving on the third lift, that there is almost no margin for error.  

XOXO would have got my vote, but after learning to speedrun it, like so many others, it's actually quite simple once you master the timing. I mainly included it as on the 360 version it has the lowest amount of entries on the leaderboard, meaning people must generally find this (warps and glitch levels excluded) the toughest on that version.  

I'm also not sure why people find Millennium so hard (maybe it's the bandage?) especially as it's the only level from this list you can use alternate characters on to help you out, and Tim especially makes it a cakewalk.

That would be 3-19X with bandage.

The only frustrating part about 5-17X is the bandage.

Why isn't the forest's glitch level in the poll? -1 is much harder than -3.

As for individual levels, obviously everyone has a different opinion from over 300 levels, so I just culled this list from looking in many different forums and compiling the ones people complained about the most.

Personally, although -1 was hard for me initially, it was only because it was so far above the difficulty curve at the time. Revisit it now, and if you're like me, you'll find it much easier than almost every Rapture, The End or Cotton Alley level.

Definitely The Kid 2 in my opinion.

That map probably took me ... an embarrassing amount of time to beat it. It's just that second half when you have to go DOWN the spikes. For some reason it seems extremely hard compared to the left side.

I think the hardest level not listed is 7-13X (think its called Bleach), but i will vote for 7-15X. The key is easy enough to get, it's trying to stay alive afterwards for long enough!

That is the hardest bandage in the game IMO. 1st time I got it, I had to use Captain Viridian, and he took a long time to unlock the 1st time. Hate that bandage with a passion!

I honestly can't choose between Bleach and The Kid 2. Both were incredibly frustrating and took me a long time to beat (I don't remember how long Bleach was, but The Kid 2 took me over an hour to beat).

The Kid level 2, easily... Took me over two hours to beat during the first completion.

I don't find any of those other listed levels nearly as challenging. XOXO's final jumps were challenging at first and the last jump of Skyscraper 3 can still be a pain for me, but nothing like that third elevator ride in the Kid's second level.

Really, I thought the list you posted in the poll was hit/miss, but you still have the Kid level 2, and that's definitely my least favorite level out there.  >.<

Just going off what others generally complained about on a number of forums I checked out.

Kid 1, Kid 2, Skyscraper 1 and Patience are classic complaints. XOXO is the least finished level on 360. Dark World End Boss 2 is also a struggle for many, as is Butcher Boy 20.

The two I think don't belong are - Millennium, as it isn't too hard and I have no idea why people hate it, but I assume it's the bandage they complain about, and - 3. None of the minus worlds are particularly hard after Cotton Alley Dark, but I suppose this one may be the toughest of the five.

7-19X is actually very easy once you get the pattern on the final jumps down, but is a nightmare until then. I'm not a speedrunner by any account, but I have the (non-hacked) top spot on that level for 360 - simply because I think it intimidates people so much.

--As does 7-19x
--I felt that it was the entirety of Skyscraper that warranted the complaints, just because you had three lives for every stage.  I felt that the second level was the hardest one of the three, especially because you had to do it twice to get the bandage.
--I don't remember Millenium :/, but I remember the glitch zones, and I think I spent the most time on -2, but I find the glitch levels are intimidating at first but easy to figure out.

I specifically choose other when I saw this. I Have never had more difficulty with anything else in this game. I Had to go outside for multiple smoke breaks because I was raging to that level. I'm a very calm person and I never rage, even at this game so that's saying something. But the worst part of the level is after you get the key. Climbing back up near the bandage is easy but actually getting in that small awkward hole was the hardest part for me.

And I don't really know why Glitch -3 is on the list. I thought it was one of the easier glitch levels.

That bandage was really intimidating at first (the last thing I had left to do in the Salt Factory for sure), but there's a good Youtube video I used that showed me a relatively easy way to get through it.  Really, the hardest part is getting out of the room the first time in such a way that sets you up to get into the bandage room, and then going back up and falling down is pretty much pie.
