Do you need to use the Kid to get this bandage? I can't seem to get it with either Ogmo or Flywrench.

You can use Ogmo. You don't have to hit the switch right away. Run to the far side and bounce off the right wall to grab the bandage and then run back to the left to hit the switch and finish the level.

I got it with fly wrench. I didn't press the switch and ran all the way to the right. I wall jumped off the wall towards the bandage. He should curve down fairly close to it then just jump however you need to. Took me a few tries to get it right but should be all that hard
