So earlier today I was ranked 3rd legit for overall SMB XBLA leaderboards  Then I improved one of my times and my level total went down to 309  Checked every chapter/level and they all still show red/pink with "A"  Replayed many levels and improved times on a few but still 309  replayed 12 non-character warpzones (all but rapture) and improved normal level - after still 309  anyone? |

Don't have idea. Exit the game, then launch it again, improve a time and see what happens.

done that about six times by now- I've also tried moving my save onto a flashdrive and then creating a new save on the hard drive - that just made my leaderboard go down to whatever my new save was - then i loaded my old save up and improved a time and i was back to 309 this seriously sucks - with my luck it's probably some random level I can never improve my time on because it's either been maxed out or the patch prevents me from achieving a faster time. Fuck |

Sometimes it just takes awhile to update. As for the level leaderboards most of them update on the spot. But other ones that I've been speed running have taken 20 minutes to update. Maybe that's your problem.

Horribly too, it ended up being one of the very last levels I tried (in the Rapture Dark World) before I found it. Yes, i'd re-done Cotton Alley, Dark and Light, and The Kid warp zone AGAIN before I stumbled on it...  |

Here's a thought--0 the level deliberately, wait for the reset and improve it that way. Maybe it'll work? |

I may have beaten some times incidentally, but I certainly wasn't speedrunning the second time, and the last one i'm almost certain I did in a regular time. |

thanks for the help guys i've gone through 1-6 light and dark and about half of 7 light - still no luck - if i get through the whole game and it stays at 309 i'll try that zero idea. i know i can get first back no problem. but if neither work well i don't know i just might drive myself over to tommys house and kill him  seriously though it would suck - i guess i'd be stuck with teh internets  |

Remember to try warp zones too.
Levels = 310, and there's only 250 regular levels. The remaining 60 are warps.
The only others are 6 minus levels which definately don't count, and 7 to 9 boss levels (if you count both The End bosses as 1 or 2 levels each) which apparently don't either.
EDIT - I remember the level now. It was the Skyscraper warp that put me back up! Try that - you may have the exact same glitch I did.
