I hadn't been on ModDB or IndieDB in quite a while, and I ventured back to discover they had released a product called
Desura (which explains that thing on the Humble Indie Bundle that I ignored). I've installed it and actually grown quite fond of it in the past week.
For those who don't know, it's a Steam-style Digital Distribution system designed for indie developers and modders. It's got a small library of games available on it right now, but I'm liking how it organizes mods into drop down menus under the game it's a mod of. Some of it's functionality relies on Steam, but it's a great extension, and it's made me a little more willing to play some unofficial mods.
Also, getting free games available from their library is a plus. Has anyone else used this? The program is still in it's infancy but I'd like to hear what other peoples' experiences with this is.
