We answered when you came in the channel. Also, your IP is easily available to anyone as soon as you join a forum, or enter any given location, so it really doesn't matter. I had that fear for only 5 seconds before I stopped caring. Also, show's over for tonight and thanks for the consistent listener base again guys! We capped at 15 tonight. |

You can set up a vhost with the nickserv on rizon to hide where you are connecting from if it's that big of an issue. I've been doing so for years. Then, only the admins can see it.

Rizon-network changes the first word of your hostname to rizon so people won't find your exact IP-address. And yeah, like it would matter. Just use a firewall and don't keep any useless server programs with vulnerabilites running and no one will benefit from your IP address. |

I actually found it really surprising that everyone in the IRC was tolerable of everybody else's music taste. Usually, when most communities start up talking about music, there's a giant flame war about which bands are good and which aren't.
