Gish, who sticks to walls and ceilings.

Alien Homonid, who has a blaster to slow his descent.

Tim from Braid, reverses time. Useful for some of the bandages suspended over pits with no other way of escape than a double jump.

Spelunky, who can propel himself forward mostly uncontrollably.

Pink Knight, (from Castle Crashers) not really sure what this character does.

The Ninja from N+, very fast running, floaty and slow jump

Gish is like Goo Ball
Alien Homonid can shoot to go a bit more up, else he is like Jill.
Tim reverse time.
Spelunky can do an explosive jump, very fast but also random.
Pink Knight is like Josef.
And N is like Runman but he jump higher.
