Anyone have a minute to try to run through this for me and give a crit? I'm calling it "Gentle Rain" and it is an entirely tweaked version of "Let It Rain" to make it semi-possible for average human non-robots. It's still far from easy though, so if you have some skill, give a shout please! Thanks.

Need a video recorded or just someone to see if it's playable? I'm more than happy to do the latter sometime later on tonight after I pound out my college crapola due tonight. The video thing is a no go since I haven't installed any capturing software since building this system a few months ago. Truthfully don't have the patience to configure one just for one video, not to mention creating a youtube account to host it (yes I don't see the point in having a youtube account since I find lps annoying as hell. retsupurae has it right when they insult 90% of lp-ers)

Hey, thanks for the reply. I just need someone other than myself to give it a little while and a bunch of tries to see how the difficulty balancing is working out. I'm actually able to get through it in one go now, and the old version ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4-lqtnjTaM) was at least 3-4 spawn moves for me. I'll send you the file via a message in a bit. Thank you!

Well I've beaten the original way back when although it took me more than 3 to 4 to figure out each of the jumps since I didn't create the level nor knew how it played out as I went along. Although I'm sure I could if I gave it a whirl after figuring the whole thing out.

That's quite a crazy looking level Heh, it was the original crazy level when he debut it. I opted not to watch the youtube video after reading the buzz on the steam forum post and sat in front of it in pure ecstasy figuring out all the jumps

I guess I AM doing something right. I thought all I did was make people curse and throw their controllers (forum doodz (not here of course) were trying to convince me that the game shouldn't be hard...). Thanks for the kind words.

I'm a bit of a video game masochist. I will bash my face against something until I am satisfied with the outcome. When it comes to this game, I love a good challenge as long as the obstacles don't involve rather difficult to control things like orbs. Those damn things make me rage something fierce since it all takes is a slight pixel change to cause them to react completely different in their effectiveness, making it extremely difficult to do repetitious muscle memory type gameplay.

Of course you can! I only didn't contact you specifically because I didn't want to be a bother. I'll send you a message.

Little buzzkill for those wanting to test. Its current version is about 3 saws different than the original. All 3 of which are fairly unnoticed at best. I made a list of changes to make it both harder in some places and easier in others. Considering editing them in myself and sending the smbl back to Rockleesmile to see what he thinks. Might come with a rename as well if I contribute since it won't be gentle rain at all

Just to be fair, I had tweaked the size and placement of about 60% of the saws in the level. After having a nice long talk with Roboticaust, I will be doing more tweaking.
