Super Bulldozer Adventure isn't playable on the Mac, though. And I'm also too lazy to port it. So yeah.

You might've heard of the particular model I use. It's called an HP POS.

Intel Pentium 4, 540, 3.2 Ghz
2 Gb RAM DDR2 (1Gb Kingmax + 1Gb Nanya)
Nvidia Geforce GT 430 (NEW!)

2 HDs (Maxtor 75Gb where XP is installed and Samsung, 1Tb, for storage)

I have really annoying lag issues with SMB on this pc.
I wrote to Tommy who adviced me to replace my old ATI RADEON X300 with a new one
Quote
The ATI Radeon X300 is below specs. The game still runs, but not very
well. Your CPU is fine, it is most definitely your graphics card.

So I thought this new graphic card (Nvidia GT 430) would make the difference but unfortunately it didnt. Not at all!
And nothing changes with lowering resolution or playing at -ultralowdetail.

Thinking what can be or not be, the processor is the oldest component (10 years more or less). And when i get this lag- slowing down issues (which i've noticed, are very cyclical, let's say every 10-15 seconds) the CPU gets very high (100% or so).
So I am thinking to buy a new processor but also considering if it's worth to spend 120 $ almost only for Super Meat Boy (yes, i fucking love this geme!), without being sure if it's going to work.

I'm not much into PC gaming, (I have an XBOX 360 for that) just want to play new Super Meat Boy levels perfectly  and a few other indie games (like Binding of Isaac which I bought and its TOTALLY unplayable! )

Any advise?
Tommy told me that a cheap Dual Core or Athlon 2 will run SMB at perfection, what do you think guys about the RAM, the power pack and everything else can be related with my issues?

I kicked myself so hard when I found out my CPU is the last generation i7 to have a LGA 1366 slot, so I have to get a whole new mobo next time I upgrade.
Ah well, I still love it, and here are my specs:

i7 930 @ 2.8ghz
4gb RAM (soon to be 6 when I have $20 spare cash!)
Radeon HD 5850 1gb
a glorious 24" ASUS monitor
Windows 7 64-bit
ergo Microsoft keyboard
And an xbox controller, of course. When I lower my chair and put a pillow behind my back, it's almost like a couch.

Relatively few crashes/bugs with this setup, and only one invisible bandage I had to find with the help of Youtube.
