Why do the magma balls hover about 0.8 tiles above the ground after I put enough objects into the map? At least that seems to be the case. I made a level with a pretty detailed background just to notice that all the magma shooters started firing balls in weird angles and the balls kept hovering above the ground after landing. When I removed most of the background set pieces and decorative obstacles, they stopped hovering and acted all normal again.

Where is the problem?

The game is about meat parkour, not standing still

There is a cap to how many objects can be present on the map.  The shooters generate objects so when you're near that cap, they stop functioning properly.  There's your logical answer.

There's an object specifically for removing lava balls that hit it, use that to avoid hitting the cap.

Wow, I didn't even know that! Thanks. I didn't think there were too many tricks left at this point.

Yeah. I was a bit amazed how quickly the cap was reached. I need to carefully plan the usage of extra objects in the further levels, or at least handle erasing the magma balls properly.

Wow, me neither! Is that object an obstacle too, or can it be found from another set of objects? What does it look like?

Indeed, do share with the class.  I've just been putting holes in my map hidden under lava so they fall off the screen and vanish, hence removing them.

the 400 object cap has nothing to do with this, but for each magma shooter it gets to shoot 20 I think, so if you have 400 magma shooters there can be 8000 balls or something like that.

The obstacle you are looking for is a white square in the Hell tileset.
