Not true.  I had completed the game 106% with 307 levels, and I have been trying to improve my times.  I just checked the leaderboard and I am now in the top 100 with 310 levels completed.  Was hoping to find an explanation here.  Also got 0.00 seconds a level the other day, which before I had assumed was people cheating. It seems to just be some glitchy shit. (360 version)

The XBLA version only went up to 307 until the Title Update today.

Now it goes up to 310.

The warp zones are messed up when it comes to completion.

I had beaten every single level (absolutely positive), but the scoreboard said I only had 305 levels complete. Then I went back to one of the warp zones in hell and completed it and I jumped up to 310.

A warp zone isn't 5 levels long, so it's definitely a glitch. I even had my level count go back down to 307 at one point when I was going through the warp zones again for bandages.

Anyways, just go back through and replay the warp zones even if you're sure you're finished them all. Worked for me.

I believe the 3 "missing" levels were The Kid warp zone levels, since when I re-did them after the PC version got this patch, my total levels went from 307 to 310.

plus right now i got 306 levels, not 307.

it's not warp zones. mine eventually jumped up to 307 after repeating level 6-5 but that was just random. now i'm showing 310! one glitch to another.... ah well. i'd give up if i weren't so addicted
