I'm gonna wait for a length estimate.  If it sounds too short I'll wait for an absurd sale on steam.  If its length sounds good to me I'll get it on the 360 (I'm part of the tiny minority who doesn't like mouse and keyboard controls for my FPS.  Also I like that on consoles your games are guaranteed to run flawlessly.)

Also just wondering... What is the best  Portal custom Map pack?

I would have to say Portal: Prelude was the best custom pack I came accross. But its actually not really a custom pack I dont guess so nevermind.

I'm not at home at the moment but when I get home from work I can recommend 3 or 4 really QUALITY custom map packs. Multi-levels n such. A few of them even have bosses n what not.

I'll post again with some recommendations if your interested. In the mean time tho you could just find them yourself on these sites:

http://www.thinkingwithportals.com

http://www.myaperturelabs.com/

There are some really fail ones on these sites so be warned. Buy with a lil time you can sift thru and find some real gems. I still play through Portal and Portal: Prelude every few months just for the fun of it. I play thru a few others as well but their names escape me and I dont have time to look em up.

Blue Portal is also really great, it's a map pack where you only have the Blue Portals Launcher.

Valve Time also refers to the lengthy time it takes them to green light games that are supposed to be released.  Super Meat Boy went through Valve Time hell when it was first released.  The count down finished.  Nothing.  An hour later it popped back up to 1 hour then finished back up to 1 then 3 then 1, etc.  It was a mess.

To be fair, I didn't spoil anything major the achievements detail such as the implications of the Borealis having something to do with the plot, or that the Co-op mode will be done in courses.

Was anyone really not expecting them to bring the companion cube back?  Everyone loved the damned thing (for some reason.  Its just a box with a heart on it...), so it would be dumb not to have it return.  It would be like if they didn't commission Jonathon Coulton to do the credits theme again, or if GLaDOS didn't come back.
