I ran in to a problem with the program not saving its settings.

I looked at the ini file and noticed it hadn't saved the settings there. So I manually edited the file and then it loaded them fine.

I then noticed it had saved a copy of the ini to E:\Steam\steamapps\common\super meat boy\UserData. So it was loading from the one in its own folder and saving to the one in Steam.

This is using 1.7.0.0.

SMBStats never saved ini file to UserData folder for me. It is saving ini file to where SMBStats running from. I'm giving "Settings.ini" as path for load and save so it will use current directory automatically which means where current process running. I will give full path with current process folder path in next release then. But still i don't understand how your SMBStats saving it to UserData folder? I never encountered save/load related problem. It must be you doing something wrong or your pc have something wrong

Edit:
I changed first post to include full change log.

Could you make Leaderboards for each level? So you can compare your single best time against others on the same level? Just like on the XBLA Leaderboards?

It is already exist. Right click to any level and select "Leaderboard".

What about adding a kind of compare mode which uses Steam leaderboard ?
It could show each level in a different color in function of our rank (global or friends).

I don't understood what you mean. But probably what you want will require too much http request and won't be good to implement it.

Edit:

SMBStats 1.7.1.0 released.
New character icons from Zarkith and auto steam id converter added.

I'll try to better explain the idea:
- add a column "Rank"
- for each level, change the row color in function of this rank (1st : green, 2nd: light green...)

Of course, it would need a cache system to prevent doing to many a http requests.

Both global and levels using same url and only difference is leaderboard id parameter.
I don't know what is Fortiguard but it is strange how global working and levels not working.
But I'm sure it is nothing to do with SMBStats.

It will be very slow even if i use multi threads.
And it will require too much work. So I'm not thinking to make it.

A good feature for the website would be an addition to the compare page - you could add a percentage difference in the two people's times for each chapter, and maybe a list of the top levels where one person could make an improvement?

I want to add data unpacker to it but I'm not sure is it legal or not.
I need to ask it to Edmund probably.
Also when level portal update release i must add new official levels to it. (Cramps etc.)
Other than thats nothing left to add.

Edit: Edmund allowed me to add data unpacker and i added it.
Also i added auto update checker.

I added auto image convert option for convert TP files to PNG.
TP files have one or more PNG files inside.

Also another tab for be able to convert PNG files back to TP.
It will be useful for change texture or color of characters.
Like this red runman:

or blue potato boy:

By the way i forget to tell, thanks to Logomorph for C++ unpacker source codes it helped me to make this unpacker in C#.

I think I found a bug, but I'm not sure. I have completed Forest Chapter. I got all levels, all bandages, all warps. Games says I completed 100%, but Meat Stats says I completed 98,83%. At one point it was shoing i got 103% when the game was showing 95%...

And one more Thing. I'm new to Meat Boy, and I don't understand how all leaderboard scores are 0 seconds. Some are -236743. How do people do that?
